Yamal is already regarded as one of the best players in the world. He plays with flair and creativity and will be featured for a loaded Spanish team that is neck-and-neck with France for having the best odds to win the World Cup at Canadian sportsbooks.
He was called up to the senior Spain team at only 16 for the UEFA Euro 2024 qualifiers and scored a goal, becoming the youngest ever to do so in the competition. Yamal was nominated for the Ballon d'Or at 17 and came in second in the voting last year.
Endrick
- Age – 19
- National team – Brazil
- Position – Striker
- Current club – Lyon on loan from Real Madrid
Another young Brazilian striker with loads of talent, and a player who always pressures defenders and causes them nightmares. His attacking style fits the Brazilian mold and has been with the senior team since 2023, making him the second-youngest call-up after legendary Ronaldo. It remains to be seen if he will be in the starting XI to begin the World Cup, but with his talent, he will see the field often.
Warren Zaïre-Emery
- Age – 20
- National team – France
- Position – Midfielder
- Current club – Paris Saint-Germain
Zaïre-Emery is a French midfielder for PSG who has been lauded for his passing, dribbling, and stamina. He has played all three midfield positions and even played fullback for PSG due to an injury to another player. He will be on the field for the stacked French squad, one of the favorites to win it all.
Zaïre-Emery was first called up to the senior team in 2023. He will not succumb to the pressure on the big stage after helping PSG win the last two Champions League titles.
Kobbie Mainoo
- Age – 21
- National team – England
- Position – Midfielder
- Current club – Manchester United
Mainoo has excellent dribbling skills and composure and can play as an attacking or defending midfielder. He is on one of the best England teams in a long time, and there is a lot of pressure on the Three Lions, as they have not won the World Cup since hosting it way back in 1966. However, he is composed and has played in some huge matches, such as when he was named Man of the Match in the 2024 FA Cup final, scoring a goal for Man U in its upset win over Manchester City.
Jhon Durán
- Age – 22
- National team – Colombia
- Position – Striker
- Current club – Zenit St. Petersburg
Durán is an uber-talented striker whose career has been marred in the last year. He will still be featured for a talented Colombian team, where he should start.
He was with Aston Villa from 2023 to 2025 but could not crack the starting XI. Aston Villa transferred him to Cristiano Ronaldo’s Saudi Pro League side, Al-Nassr, but that did not work out with issues with coaches and players, which happened again in a loan to Fenerbahçe. He was loaned out again to Zenit St. Petersburg, and the striker could use a breakout World Cup to move to a major club.
Niko Sigur
- Age – 22
- National team - Canada
- Position – Midfield - Right fullback
- Current club – Hajduk Split
Sigur is one of the young talents making his World Cup debut this summer. He is a creative, intelligent player who is adept at moving the ball forward. He has earned looks from bigger clubs, and a strong showing at the World Cup would definitely help that move.
